Microsoft Planner Tool For Office 365 Now Available In Preview

Microsoft unvielded its Planner project management tool for organisations using Office 365 back in September. Planner is now available in preview and Office 365 administrators who have registered for early access will be able to set up the tool for their end-users.

Microsoft Planner promises to make managing work within teams easier through better visuals, notifications and tracking tools. The Planner preview is available to First Release customers on the following plans: Office 365 Enterprise E1, Office 365 Enterprise E3, Office 365 Enterprise E4, Office 365 Enterprise E5, Office 365 Education, Office 365 Education E3, Office 365 Education E4, Office 365 Business Essentials and Office 365 Business Premium.

Administrators who are eligible and have registered interest in accessing Planner will be provided with instructions on how to implement the preview in their organisations. Planner also integrates with Office 365 Groups, a foundational service that lets individuals create public or private groups.
