The end of the year means it’s a good time to look back to see how far you’ve come, and social aggregator ThinkUp is, as they always do, collecting insights in December from the past year to see what you’ve said that’s really resonated on social media.
ThinkUp, a collaboration between Lifehacker founder Gina Trapani and blogger/entrepreneur Anil Dash, can already help you make sure you’re tweeting or posting to Facebook at the right times to get your message heard, or just show you what you post that the people who follow you are most interested in. Their insights feature though is especially fun to try out in December. For example, my year in review had a couple of interesting highlights:
- I’ve tweeted 28,521 times this year for over 4 days, 22 hours, 50 minutes. Clearly I need to slow down.
- My best social media times are between 5pm and 6pm
- My Instagram followers would pack a New York City subway car, which I suppose is an accomplishment
- Every time I tweet more people see it than live in Rhinebeck, New York, which means I should really only open my mouth when it’s important
