Travel planning usually takes a lot of work. Travel site Hipmunk wants to help you with that with its new travel planning assistant called Hello Hipmunk.
Instead of searching for flights, hotels, or car rentals, you can send an email to [email protected] to get recommendations via email. While emailing your mum about a possible visit, for example, CC: Hello Hipmunk and get recommendations in a matter of minutes. (You’ll have to type something in the message like “@Hipmunk I need a flight from Melbourne to Auckland.”)
With Hello Calendar, if you allow Hipmunk to connect to your Google Calendar, it will scan for events where you’re out of town and email you travel information for those dates (hotel, flights, holiday rental, and train options). Helpful when you’ve got “Trip to Las Vegas, NV” pencilled in but not reservations yet. It’s pretty smart.
