Waze Finally Looks Better, Is Less Of A Pain To Use

iOS: Waze just released a big design overhaul for its app that makes it a lot easier to use. It also ditches the intensely cluttered interface that always made it a bit of an eyesore.

The new app retains the cartoonish appearance of previous ones, but it’s a lot less cluttered with randomly placed icons now. With just a couple taps you can now easily snag directions, send an ETA to a friend, and more. Beyond that, it now shows you traffic reports and alternate routes on a new ETA panel, and integrates into your calendar to give you a heads up about road incidents that could potentially mess with your schedule. The iOS version is available now with the Android update coming soon.
