The Best Apps Updated With 3D Touch Support

The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus come with a cool new “3D touch” feature that allows you to push a little harder on the screen to get a second set of menus. Apps needed updating before they could use this feature though, so lets take a look at some of the best implementations so far.

The bulk of apps have been updated with “quick actions,” which allow you to hard press on the icon on the home screen to get a menu to launch into a specific section of the app. But a few also get “peek and pop” where you can preview things like notes or emails without actually opening up a new screen.

Of course, there are others that have been updated as well, but so far these are some of the better apps. Hopefully we’ll see some more interesting uses of the tech as time goes on. iOS 9 isn’t just about 3D touch, there’s been some other great updates for older phones as well.
