HotelQuickly Extends Booking Timeframe To Seven Days

HotelQuickly is a great way to score cheap accomodation in a hurry, but the strict 48-hour window makes it difficult to plan trips reliably. Thankfully, the service has extended its booking timeframe to seven days in response to customer demand. Hurrah!

HotelQuickly is a mobile-only booking app that purports to provide discounts of up to 70% on 3-to-5 star hotels. Today, the service launched a new seven-day calendar for more than 250 Asia-Pacific destinations. This is particularly handy for business travellers, who typically need to lock in accomodation with more than 48 hours notice. The same goes for family holidays.

This is good news for patrons, but we’re not sure what’s in it for the hotels; the whole point of fast-booking apps is that they allow hotel managers to fill vacant rooms that would otherwise have gone empty. Allowing customers to book a week in advance is sure to affect the offered discount, so bear that in mind if you’re trying to score the cheapest price possible.

The new seven-day booking calendar is now open for all users in all destinations. You can download the free app for Android, iPhone, and BlackBerry 10 devices here.
