iOS 9 doesn’t bring along a ton of new features, but with multitasking, Spotlight Search, and Quick Reply, apps need to get updated before you can use them. Here’s a list of some of the better apps that’ve been updated.
Obviously more and more apps will come over the next few days, but here’s what we’ve seen (and like) so far:
- 1Password (Spotlight Search/Multitasking)
- BBC iPlayer (Picture in Picture)
- Dispatch (Spotlight Search/Multitasking)
- Documents 5 (Spotlight Search/Multitasking)
- Drafts (Spotlight Search/Multitasking)
- Dropbox (Spotlight Search)
- Flipboard (Spotlight Search)
- Hulu (Picture in Picture)
- Instapaper (Multitasking)
- Microsoft Office (Spotlight Search/Multitasking/Custom Shortcuts)
- PCalc (Multitasking)
- Pocket (Spotlight Search, Picture in Picture)
- Night Sky (Spotlight Search)
- Slack (Multitasking)
- Terminology (Multitasking)
- Things (Multitasking/Custom Shortcuts)
- Twitter (Multitasking/Quick Reply)
It’s a bit of a slow start, all things considered. But hopefully we’ll see more over the weekend.
