Stack Is A Weekly Playlist Of New Music, Curated By Hype Machine

The Hype Machine has long been one of our favourite ways to discover new music, but with Stack, a new weekly playlist from the team behind the service, it’s even easier. Sign up for a weekly reminder or bookmark the page and each week you’ll get a short playlist of new tracks, a little news and a new album to stream.

Stack has been running for a while now (this week will be their 60th playlist) but the gist is simple: Each week you’ll get a short, five-song playlist that highlights some of the best releases and songs of the week that the team at Hype Machine have seen pick up in popularity (or are just some of the most interesting on the site.) Additionally, you’ll get an exclusive full-album stream, and a music longread in the news section to take with you and read while you enjoy that new music.

Stack is firmly in the vein of the greats, like our much belovedNoon Pacific and previously mentioned free-download service, BoomboxFM.

Stack is no replacement for either, but if you love even more great music in your inbox every week, it’s more than worth a look — and a sign-up.
