Google Docs Adds An In-App Research Mode, Dictation And More

Google Docs is rolling out a slew of updates today, including a new research mode for the Android app, voice typing in Chrome and more.

The new research mode for the Android app makes it so you can do most research, including pulling quotes and facts from online, directly in the Android app without ever switching. As for voice typing, if you’re using Chrome, Android or iOS, you can now use dictation in Docs to quickly get your ideas onto paper. Finally, a new “See new changes” button is rolling out so you can see what changes were made to a document while you were away.
