Turn Your Pictures Into Trippy Emoji Mosaic Artworks

Love them or hate them, emojis have become an integral part of modern electronic communication. Be it the ‘blowing kisses’ emoji or the ‘arm flexing’ emoji, sometimes it just takes one of those cute micro images to express yourself. Now you can use a gazillion of them to convert your pictures into some avant-garde mosaic artworks with a click of a button.

Over at The Creators Project, web developer Eric Andrew Lewis showcased his latest project: a web app that can turn any image into an emoji artwork. All you have to do is visit the Emoji Mosaic site, upload an image, wait a little while and randomised emojis will populate the screen to recreate the picture.

Here’s one made from my favourite picture of Kylie Jenner:

You can make your own emoji mosaics over at Eric Andrew Lewis’ no-frills webpage.
