Major Libre Office 5.0 Update Brings Windows 10 Support

The latest version of the open-source office suite Libre Office is here, and it’s called Libre Office 5.0. There are a whole bunch of new features and changes to the current setup, including an improved user interface, better use of the screen space and what the Libre Office team call “a cleaner look”.

Spreadsheets have had a significant update with enhanced features, conditional formatting, new image cropping tools, table addressing and much more.

The newest version of Libre Office is also built to work a little better with other programmes, like Apple iWork and Microsoft Office, making working between them easier and more seamless than ever.

Previous versions of Libre Office have garnered more than 80 million users across a range of platforms, according to the official Libre Office blog post about the new update.
