Scrap timber and pallet pieces should be properly organised so you can find them for your next project. You can build your own rolling storage cart from scratch, or you can save money and build this one from pallets.
This rolling cart is will fit easily through doorways and slide neatly against walls. It has eight compartments to hold wood of various sizes. The pallet side paneling provides a unique look, and you won’t worry if this cart gets dinged or damaged, since you can easily replace any component.
To build this cart you’ll need tools to break down your pallets, including a recip saw, prybar and hammer. To build the cart, you’ll need a circular saw, mitre saw, sander, cordless drill and nailer. Once you’ve pulled some pallet deck boards you’ll need four caster wheels, deck screws, pocket hole screws and brad nails to assemble the cart.

Aren’t pallets all centrally owned, so they need to be returned? Some company called CHEP or similar??
This is true, if it’s a CHEP branded. But there’s a lot of throw away pallets out there, that are tied to no one apart from the bin 😛 They’re just made of cheap pine, MDF or particle board from my experience or all 3 in some cases, not seasoned hardwoods like the CHEP ones are.
I know wooden pallets have many uses and they are often constructed into sturdy and attractive pieces of furniture like a coffee table or even a sofa frame. However, I have not seen any that has been converted into a storage trunk which I think is highly practical without costing so much.
