In the video above, YouTuber kipkay demonstrates how to take apart a vintage camera and carefully remove the lens from it. Then with a few little tweaks, you have a lens that fits on your smartphone and lets you take detailed photos of super tiny subjects. There are other cool ways to make your own macro photography lenses, but this hack makes great use of a gadget you probably haven’t touched in years.
