Google Drive Gives You Greater Control Over Shared Files

Google’s changing the advanced sharing features on Google Drive, making it easier to control how others use your shared files.

The implementation of Information Rights Management (IRM) in Google Drive means that you’ll be able to specifically disable downloading, printing or copying from documents shared on Google Drive via the advanced sharing menu.

Access is via the Sharing panel, with a click on the “Advanced” button to enable the feature, which is scheduled to go live across Google Drive in the next fortnight.
