Getting a good deal on an airfare is never unwelcome — as long as you’re on top of all the conditions. If you don’t mind its stingy carry-on limits, Tigerair has just launched a new campaign, offering cheap domestic tickets every Saturday afternoon.

Called “Saturday Flight Fever”, Tigerair will offer discounted airfares at the end of each week, starting from 12pm and ending at 4pm (AEST). There’s a celebratory video, though you don’t have to watch it if you don’t want to.
The first sales period was yesterday, with 500 seats available from $9. Below are the destinations and travel periods for that particular deal:
Route (both ways) | Travel period – 2015 | Fares from |
Melbourne – Adelaide | 25 August – 16 September | $9 |
Melbourne – Hobart | 25 August – 16 September | $9 |
Sydney – Gold Coast | 24 August – 16 September | $9 |

Nah
I miss tiger, they no longer fly here, and with them going Qantas and Virgin’s prices doubled. Not that I’d ever fly tiger, given the one time I tried booking with them they cancelled my flight, pushing me back to the next day and refused to refund me as it’s covered in their T&C, so I had to go through credit card insurance.
Tiger still register the most complaints in Aus than any other airline so umm.. yeah.
