Ever wanted to take regular pictures of an outdoor location without worrying about external power or reliance on Wi-Fi or cellular signals? This Raspberry Pi camera beacon may be just the thing.

This build from Instructables user hackbp uses radio signals to transmit live images at regular intervals. A Raspberry Pi-controlled camera takes the picture, the Raspberry Pi translates the images into an audio signal, and the image is then slowly broadcast using slow-scan television (SSTV) transmissions over via an attached radio.
