Briefly: LG’s Aussie TV Court Case, Gen Y Internet Slang, Need For Speed

Brief news items of note for Lifehacker readers, including LG’s 3D TV bust and failed attempts to explain Gen Y slang.

  • No-one could accuse the legal process of running quickly. LG has just been banned from implying that its 3D TVs are less likely to cause nausea when viewed, after rival Samsung took it to court. • What happens when you ask a bunch of people over 25 to explain Gen Y slang terms like “bae” and “belfie”? This happens.
  • That video up top there is a teaser trailer for the new Need For Speed. As Luke at Gizmodo points out, there’s a whole lot of bro going on.
