Earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points At Kogan

Another way to pile some extra points on your Qantas Frequent Flyer account: purchases from online retailer Kogan now earn one point per dollar spent.

To earn the points, you need to have an account on the Kogan.com site and add your frequent flyer number to the details. As with any frequent flyer deal, it pays to be aware of the fine print:

  • The points are earned on the cost of items; shipping and postage fees don’t earn points.
  • The total is rounded down to the nearest dollar, so a $19.99 purchase will earn you 19 points.
  • Points can take up to 60 days to appear in your account (which isn’t unusual; most Qantas affiliate points take a while to show up.

As usual, we wouldn’t advise shopping at Kogan simply to earn points — it’s far more cost-effective to fly if that’s your goal — but if you’re buying anyway, it’s a nice bonus. Just remember: you’d have to spend $8000 at Kogan to earn a single one-way flight, taxes not included.
