Build Your Own Apple II Lookalike Watch

Build Your Own Apple II Lookalike Watch

Building your own watch is no simple task. If you don’t mind putting in some work and happen to have a love for the design of the old Apple II, Instructables user Aleator777 shows you how to build your own watch inspired by the classic design.

The watch itself is powered by a Teensy 3.1 and Arduino-powered software. From there, you’ll also need a small TFT LCD display, an MP3 player, battery and a few random parts to get the whole thing running. It’s all housed inside a 3D-printed case with a striking resemblance to an Apple II. It’s a pretty complicated build, but Aleator777’s Instructable walks you through every step very closely and the end result is incredibly impressive.
