Paperwork Is An Evernote Alternative You Can Host Yourself

If you’re not a big fan of storing your notes on a third-party service such as Google Keep or Evernote, Paperwork is a similar open-source alternative that you can host yourself. You can various notebooks that you can store you notes in, a tagging system, multi-media uploading and WYSIWYG editing.

Paperwork isn’t nearly as complex as something like Evernote, but it does have a lot of the more useful features. There aren’t any mobile apps, but if you’d prefer to keep your notes in your own hands, it’s a solid alternative.
