Get Yourself A $29 Google Chromecast From Dick Smith

Chromecast was already a decent buy at its recommended price, but if you can get it at a discount, the deal gets even sweeter. If you’re willing to go through a few hoops, you can pick up Google’s streaming dongle for a mere $29.05 from Dick Smith.

As OzBargain user “sfac” explains, you’ll need to sign up with credit card details for a free trial to Stan to receive the discount, however, you can kill the subscription immediately at no cost.

The code you need will be sent by email, after which you can hit up the Chromecast product page on the Dick Smith website and if you’re happy to pick up your purchase (using Click & Collect), it can be yours for $29.05. Alternatively, an extra $5.95 will get it delivered.

The page states the deal is good until 31 May, though it’s only for the first 20,000 customers… so you should be right unless you need a few months to make up your mind.
