Create A Separate Chrome User Account To Reduce Distractions

It’s easy to get distracted when the first thing your browser shows you in the morning is Facebook, Twitter or your favourite site. Reduce the clutter by adding a separate, work-only account to Chrome.

As reddit user Roaxed explains, Chrome’s already-awesome profile switching feature can be used for distraction-free work with a couple of clicks. You can sign in to each with a different email account to sync bookmarks, but you can also have a Guest browser session or simply a regular user without an associated email address if you want.

All your usual bookmarks are available if you really need to get to them, but they won’t be staring you in the face, tempting you to get distracted every single time you open a new tab.
