16GB Sandisk USB Flash Drives Are $5 Each At Officeworks

You can never have enough USB thumb drives, unless of course you have a problem with hoarding and you’re drowning in portable storage devices. For everyone who doesn’t fit this description, Officeworks is currently offering 16GB Cruzer Force flash drives for five bucks each.

As OzBargain user nagel notes, the deal is only available in-store and stock could be a factor, so you should call around before venturing out. The drives are also only USB 2.0 and while the performance leaves a lot to be desired, it should be more than good enough for transferring videos, music and documents.

I wouldn’t go backing up any servers onto them though, even with gigabytes of capacity at your disposal if you grab a few.
