We’ve highlighted previous Oh Joy Sex Toy comics before, like the one that showed you how to behave in a strip club, and the right way to share sexy selfies. This one tackles a topic that’s important, but often difficult for people to talk about — yeast infections, how to treat them, and how to make them suck as little as possible.
The comic does an amazing job at explaining how yeast infections happen, what causes them in the first place, how to tell if you have one, and how to treat them. Erika Moen (the author and artist) explains that if you do have one, running to the store and buying some random over-the-counter cream may not be the best idea. Ifit turns out you don’t have one, you’ll wind up reducing the efficacy of that treatment when you do. Instead, see your doctor for advice, especially if you haven’t done the yeast infection dance before.
