Hump Day Deals: Kogan Warehouse Sale, Cheap Sega Games, 40% Off At Sunglass Hut

Hump day (AKA Wednesday) is arguably the most boring day of the week. So why not liven things up by grabbing one of these nifty online bargains?   • EB Games is currently throwing a stock clearance sale. Decent deals include Titanfall on Xbox One for $28, Assassin’s Creed IV for $28, Skate 3 for $23 and Trials Fusion Deluxe for $23.
  • This week’s Humble Bundle focuses on the games of Square Ennix. Pay $1 or more for Hitman: Absolution, Supreme Commander 2, and Hitman GO. Pay more than the average price, and you also get Thief, Murdered: Soul Suspect, and Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut. Pay $15 or more, and you get all of that plus Tomb Raider and Sleeping Dogs. As always, you can choose who gets the lion’s share of your money: Humble Bundle, the developers or the nominated charity.
  • Amazon is selling Sega Genesis Classic Game Packs for just $US2.62 — a saving of 93 per cent. Available games include Golden Axe, Altered Beast, Ecco the Dolphin, Shinobi III, Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle, Alien Storm, Virtua Fighter 2, Gunstar Heroes, Streets of Rage 2, Phantasy Star III and Wonder Boy in Monster World.
  • Kotaku has published a huge summer loot guide to the best gaming paraphernalia on the market. (Note: a lot of these products appeared on our Christmas guide last year but many have since fallen in price.)
  • Target is currently selling the new Nintendo 3DS for $197. You can get an additional 20 per cent off when you use the discount code “CTARGET20”.

  • Amazon’s Free Android App of the Day does exactly what it says on the tin. Today’s freebie is AtroSurf; a Thrust-style arcade game where you use gravitational forces to dodge planets.
  • Microsoft has removed all feature restrictions from the free version of OneNote 2013, including password protected sections, audio and video recording, audio search and embedded files. Click here for the download.

  • Feel like you’re running out of space in your Google account? You can score an extra 2GB by undertaking Google’s free security checkup.
  • For those who didn’t get the memo, Google Earth Pro has dumped it $US400 subscription fee. This means features including high-resolution images, movie creation and map making are now available free to anyone who downloads the application.
  • Computers/Gadgets

  • Bargains Online is selling the pink iPhone 5C (16GB) for $439.

  • Shipping Square is selling the Black Eagle 25.4cc Petrol Chainsaw with 10-inch Oregon Bar and Chain for $99; a saving of $120.
  • Aldi is selling Selfie Sticks with inbuilt Bluetooth for $14.99. The model is small enough to fit into your pocket or purse and is compatible with most Bluetooth enabled smartphones.

  • Dan Murphy’s is selling one litre bottles of Baileys Irish Cream for $29.45. You can also get free delivery when you use the code MIXED.
  • Guzman Y Gomez will be selling Burritos, Burrito Bowls and Coronas for just $5 apiece. The deal is available at all GYG restaurants between 2-6 March.
  • Online grocery shopping is convenient but it’s not particularly cost-effective. Kogan is looking to change this with the launch of Kogan Pantry. This is a new online store that sells a broad range of food and home supplies, with a capped delivery fee of $9.99 anywhere in Australia. Prices start at $0.99.
