Microsoft’s online eligibility checker for free Office 365 is now available for Australian students and teachers. To find out if you qualify, simply type your school-provided email address into the task bar. If you school email is valid, you’ll automatically receive a free download link. Too easy!
According to Microsoft’s Office blog, there are currently around 5.5 million students in Australia eligible for free Office 365, which is offered to any educational institution that purchases Office for faculty and staff.
The product includes the latest version of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Access and Publisher, as well as 1TB of free OneDrive storage and Office Online for in-browser editing and collaborations. It can be installed on up to five PCs or Macs and up to five mobile devices. To complete the signup, all you need is a valid school email address.
Students can head here to check their eligibility for free Office, while teachers should head here. Upon successful signup, just open the email and follow the prompts.
