Google Cloud Trace Tracks Problems With Cloud Applications

Google’s Cloud Trace performance analytics tool was announced at the Google I/O developer conference last year. Now it’s finally available in beta for Google Cloud Platform users.

Cloud Trace helps identify performance issues related to latency and general application performance, which can be tricky to resolve. It includes tools to track performance before and after an app change, which can help pinpoint if an issue is related to a recent update.

Cloud Trace can be enabled on any app using App Engine or a Managed VM. Hit the blog announcement for more details on how to set it up.
