Wrap Oddly Shaped Gifts By Creating A Gift Bag Out Of Wrapping Paper

If you’re giving a gift that doesn’t come in a box, there’s still a way to wrap it without it looking like a crumpled mess. Gift bags are the perfect workaround, and here’s how you can make a simple one with the wrapping paper you probably already have around.

This video from YouTuber Hans Masing demonstrates the process of creating a gift bag out of some wrapping paper. All you need to do is pull enough wrapping paper so that it can fully wrap around the item, tape along the long seam, and use the special folding technique you see in the video for the bottom of the bag. This works well for stuffed toys, baked goods, handmade gifts and anything else that doesn’t come in a box. Some gifts are harder than others to wrap, but there are plenty of methods you can use without resorting to buying extra gift bags or boxes.
