You Can Download Apple’s WatchKit Developer Software Now

The Apple Watch still doesn’t have an official release date, but Apple has released WatchKit, its software development kit (SDK), for the platform. Anyone fancy building a watch version of 2048?

WatchKit is part of the beta version of the iOS 8.2 SDK beta (watch apps rely on iOS — you can’t run them fully independently). It’s available to registered Apple developers. Apple has said the watch itself will be available in early 2015.
