VTabs Puts Tabs In A Side Bar, Can Save Open Tabs For Later

Chrome: Tabs are one of the best inventions in the browser world, but bring the problem of managing them. vTabs offers a solution with a sidebar that not only lets you see more info about a tab, but store tabs away for later.

The trouble with horizontal tab management is that with enough tabs open, you lose the ability to see titles or even favicons. vTabs creates a vertical tab management sidebar that allows you to see the same amount of text for every tab, no matter how many you have open.

As a bonus, the extension also has a feature that allows you to save tabs for later. Simply drag a tab from the sidebar up to the shield icon and it will immediately close in your window, but it will be saved there for later. Handy if you’re suffering tab overflow and need to get rid of something to come back to later, but don’t necessarily need to send it to Pocket or Evernote.
