Chrome: If you’ve ever researched anything medical, you know what it’s like to have a bunch of jargon thrown at you, only to feel just as confused as when you started. Iodine’s Medical Translator translates confusing medical terminology into plain English when you hover over the word.
Once installed, when you read up on any medical condition on the web, all of the medical language is highlighted in yellow. Just hover your cursor over each term as you read to see the word in plain English. You’ll also see a link for any corresponding medications.
The translator is brand new, so I expected (and found) some terms not highlighted that probably should have been. It still catches enough jargon to be a big help in medical research, though. Hit the link below to give it a shot.
