Create A ‘Zip Trip’ Nappy Bag For On-The-Go Changes

If you’ve ever had to change a nappy in a public place, you know that it can be awkward — and a large nappy bag doesn’t necessarily make the process easier. Instead of carrying supplies in a big bag crammed with other baby stuf, use a “zip trip” bag with just the essentials.

Hint Mama suggests the idea of a Zip Trip bag within your main bag:

Pack up a small plastic bag (a Ziploc bag works great) with the basic essentials you’ll need for a change — think a couple of nappies, a portable wipe container or some wipes, and nappy rash cream.

Then, when it’s time for a change, leave your big bag near your aeroplane seat, in your car, in your stroller or on your back, and bring only the small plastic bag with you. And when the change is done, you can dispose of the bag if you want and pack up the gear in a fresh plastic baggie. (And if you’re not a fan of using plastic bags, a small reusable bag that you can easily wash will work great too).
