Ptable Provides An In-Depth, Interactive Periodic Table Of Elements

If you’re a student hoping to conquer chemistry — or just like chemistry as a hobby — website Ptable gives you a browser based periodic table that lets you view element information, properties, orbitals, isotopes, and even possible compounds in interactive visualisations.

When you select an element on the main tab, a separate window with all of the element’s information — from Wikipedia — will appear. The Properties tab gives you all of the various elements stats like a chemistry baseball card: melting point, boiling point, conductivity, abundance, when it was discovered, etc. The Orbitals and Isotopes tab gives you even more information, but the Compounds tab is especially useful. You can select any number of elements and it will list for you possible compounds that contain the elements you’ve selected.

As you view, you can also have the table show elemental weights, names along with their symbols, and electrons. If you have some studying to do — or just need a great reference — Ptable seems to be one of the best out there. Check it out at the link below.
