Chrome: Do you enjoy maps and satellite photos of Earth? Then this Chrome extension from Google Maps is for you. It delivers a unique satellite photo every time you open a new tab page.
You can click on the location in the bottom right of the page to explore the area (and virtually travel).
The new tab page only has a link to your Chrome apps, though, so if you want to use the tab page for more productive reasons, like quickly accessing your bookmarks or RSS feeds, this isn’t for you. However, for people like me who only open a new tab page to do a new Google search or head to another site, the random map photos add some beauty throughout the day.
