Cook Almost Anything With Your Bread Machine

Cook Almost Anything With Your Bread Machine

Bread machines are useful for a lot more than just making bread. After all, you’ve got a single device that can both stir and heat and even do it on a schedule. So if you have a bread machine sitting on a shelf gathering dust, clean it up and put it to use.

Frankly, I’m not crazy about bread made with bread machines. I bake a lot and while bread machines are pretty good at mixing and kneading, something about how they bake bread just never sat right with me. But, as Instructables user jkimball points out, you can use a bread machine for so much more than the obvious stuff, like making bread or pizza dough. Pretty much anything you need to stir and heat is fair game. My favourite idea is using it for soup (just toss in the ingredients and go), but hit up the site for suggestions on casseroles, sauces, breakfast and snacks.
