Panda Is A News Feed That Keeps You Inspired And Informed

Web/Chrome: Panda combines top-rated stories and images from popular websites to keep you informed as well as inspired to make awesome things. You can even replace Chrome’s new tab page with it.

You can see how Panda works in the short demo above. The site works just fine as a website, but you can also download the Chrome extension. Click the question-mark in the upper-right corner of the page to run through a quick tour of the web app, which will show you how to switch between popular and recent stories in the news feed, choose different news sources from the right sidebar, and choose different inspiration sources for the images.

The team behind Panda has been working to add more sources to it. While it will never be a replacement for a feed reader, nor completely customisable (don’t expect to add your own news sources or feeds), it’s definitely fun to use. If you find yourself reading the news on Hacker News or Product Hunt all the time (especially if you’re a developer or a designer), it’s worth checking out. Hit the link below to give it a try.
