Why You Should Get The Big Things Done First

Why You Should Get The Big Things Done First

It’s common to reach the end of the day and realise you’ve hardly accomplished anything. This object demonstration shows why you should tackle the big tasks first thing in the morning.

This concept is something we’ve talked about before, but this demonstration from Brett McKay at The Art of Manliness is a great way to see how your time is getting eaten up by unproductive things. The object lesson here is inspired by Stephen Covey’s book First Things First, and it helps explain how your day is comprised of a limited amount of time. How you fill that time is up to you, but more often than not you’ll find that taking care of the big stuff as soon as you can each day will actually give you more space to fill with the other things you care about.
