Reader Oliver wanted to make his Linux Mint desktop look as much like a Mac as possible so others would find it easy to use. Given some of our previous Linux featured desktops, we know it wasn’t tough, but the end-result still looks great. Here’s how it’s all set up.
- The wallpaper
- The Kupfer application laucher
- The Cairo Dock at the bottom of the screen
- The Blackelegance Cinnamon Theme
That’s all there is to it. Oliver is running Linux Mint, but we imagine you could use these tweaks anywhere, in any version of Linux that you see fit. The end result is an OS that’s not terribly overhauled or reworked, but still looks like anyone could sit down at it and get to work.
