Chrome: Motivation is a Chrome extension that shows your life ticking away. It works as a slightly morbid reminder that time spent procrastinating online amounts to time wasted.
There are lots of anti-procrastination tools that block access to time-sucking websites, and we’ve looked at various methods for avoiding other distractions. Sometimes, you need a jolt of reality to spur you into action. Motivation replaces Chrome’s New Tab page with a clock that shows your precise age counting up — you need to provide your date of birth so this can be calculated.
Next time you think about firing up Facebook, make sure you open a new tab first rather than using a bookmark to open it. The age clock will appear and remind you that you age as you waste time. It might not be overly cheerful, but it’s not quite as bleak as counting down to your death,

My wife says l waste too much time on Gizmodo and Lifehacker.
I know I waste too much time on Gizmodo and Lifehacker…
Seeing this would make me less likely to focus while at work, and more likely to procrastinate….
Well that all depends on how you define wasted time.
