Create A Hanging Fruit Bowl To Save Space In The Kitchen

Space in the kitchen can be at a premium, especially in apartments. If you would rather use your worktop for food preparation than storing fruit, a hanging fruit bowl is a great option.

IKEA Hackers suggests using a clothes peg basket and wire towel rail from IKEA to create a suspended fruit bowl beneath your cupboards or shelves. Rather than attaching the towel wire to the wall, screw it to the underside of a wall unit. You can use one or more peg baskets that would normally dangle from a clothes line and store the fruit of your choice in each one.
