Australia Is Going To Recycle Even More Mobile Phones

Australians love buying mobile phones, but that also means we love getting rid of the old models — and that creates a lot of landfill. So it’s good news that the volume manufacturers have committed to help recycle is also going up.

Between now and 2020, the industry plans to recycle 560 tonnes of mobile phones via the MobileMuster scheme — an increase of 130 tonnes on its previous commitment.
