Turn A Long Shawl Or Scarf Into A Baby Carrier

Turn A Long Shawl Or Scarf Into A Baby Carrier

If you’re interested in an alternative to baby carriers, Meredith from weblog Becoming Mamas demonstrates two ways to carry your little one with just a wrap.

The two methods shown are the Front Wrap Cross Carry and the Front Cross Carry, both the “legs in” version of the carries. She demonstrates a “legs out” version of the Front Wrap Cross Carry as well in this video here. The type of wrap she uses are easy to find and can be located in stores or purchased online. You don’t have to use a designated baby wrap as long as the material is strong and long enough, but baby wraps are usually designed to be a little stretchy and cooling.
