Teamreporter Builds Status Emails For You, Skips Time-Wasting Meetings

We’ve mentioned that a few regular emails can cut down your workload, but they can also cut down on the time wasted in meetings spent “getting everyone up to speed”. You can go a step further and automate those emails too, thanks to Teamreporter.

Teamreporter is a free web service that collects all of the information you need for a regular status report from all of the people who need to submit details, condenses it into a single, easy-to-read digest, and then emails your whole team with your current status the next day.

You can customise Teamreporter with specific questions to ask, who the tool should email to ask those questions, how frequently it should nag them, and when it should send out the status report that incorporates all of their answers and responses. You can even set it to send requests and reports to different people, so you can only query a few people, but update everyone, or query a lot of people and send one consistent update to your management, whichever you prefer. Teamreporter is a web service, so it works with people in and out of your organisation, but it also means you may not want to use it for super-sensitive documents.

Teamreporter is free for small teams, but if you want more groups, reports or larger teams, you’ll need a subscription. Hit the link below to learn more.
