Streak For Gmail Adds An Email ‘Snooze’ Button To Keep Your Inbox Tidy

Chrome/Safari: If most of your work comes in through your email inbox, Streak’s new email “snooze” feature lets you archive messages you need to get back to for a specific period of time. This allows you to focus on other things in the interim.

We’ve mentioned before that Streak lets you track emails and see who opens them, and also lets you schedule emails and events all from Gmail. This update adds even more functionality to the service. Now you can hide emails until specific times when you can work on them or want to see them, and quickly see messages you’re waiting on responses to.

Streak is actually a CRM tool, so it probably has a number of features you don’t really need, but combined with email tracking, text expansion and easy scheduling, snooze is a welcome feature that reminds us a bit of another of our favourite services, Boomerang.

Streak is free, but it does require some hefty access and permissions to your Gmail account to use. They’re reasonable considering the tool’s feature set, but you should definitely review them before signing up. Hit the link below to learn more.
