DSLR cameras are incredible photography tools, but with so many lenses to carry around, it’s easy to damage something if you don’t take the proper precautions. Photography site COOPH suggests using a stubby holder to protect lenses when they’re out of the case.

A stubby holder (known as a beer cozy to our US friends) is roughly the right size for many camera lenses. While you should always properly store your lenses when not in use, placing them inside a stubby holder can provide some extra protection while they’re out of the bag.
