We already know that Twitter search is pretty useful for things beyond sharing your breakfast. However, there are some undocumented search operators that you can use to filter out the junk.
The double-edged sword of Twitter is that it can fill up with a lot of junk very quickly. Twitter hhas tried to mitigate this by enabling a “Top Tweets” section, but if you want to fine tune your results, you can use the min_retweets: and min_faves: operators to further refine your results.
These operators are a bit more hidden than the ones we’re used to, but as anyone who’s combed through search results can tell you, they’re invaluable for separating the wheat from the chaff.
