Add A Special Bookmark In iOS To Zoom On Sites That Don’t Allow It

iOS: There are a handful of sites out there that don’t let you zoom in on them when you’re looking at the mobile version. This can be annoying if the font’s too small or it’s just hard to read. To fix this, WonderHowTo shows you how to use a bit of JavaScript in a bookmark.

Essentially, you’ll create a new bookmark, then replace the URL in the bookmark with a this piece of JavaScript:

javascript:document.querySelector('meta%5Bname=viewport%5D').setAttribute('content','width=device-width,initial-scale=1.0,maximum-scale=10.0,user-scalable=1');

Once you’re done, you can hit that bookmark at any time to enable pinch-to-zoom on sites that don’t support it. Head over to WonderHowTo for the full guide.
