If you’re not a fan of the newest version of Google Maps, Google Operating System has a quick way to access the old version of maps from an old URL. It turns out using the old Local URL brings up the older version of Maps.
To get to classic Maps, just head to http://www.google.com/local. Likewise, you can always click the question mark icon in the new Google Maps and select “Return to classic Google Maps”. If you’re finding the new version too bloated, this might do the trick.
