Dick Smith Electronics is getting in early on the End Of Financial Year sales this long weekend, with up to 40 per cent off select products, including cameras, batteries, computers, iTunes gift cards, A/V equipment and fitness gadgets. Here’s what you can expect to see on special.
This long weekend, Dick Smith will be slashing the price on various electronics. The focus is on home office products to tie in with the new financial year, although there are plenty of consumer goodies up for grabs as well. Below are the noteworthy discounts:
- 20% off Asus & HP Computers
- 20% off Nikon Cameras
- 20% off Headphones
- 20% off iTunes gift cards
- $50 off iPad $500 & over
- 10% off Samsung Tablets
- 10% off Fitness
- 15% off Personal Care
- Up to 20% off GPS & Magellen (including Fitness)
- Up to 30% off Logitech Accessories
- 40% Off Dick Smith Batteries, HDMI Cables, Camera Bags, Indoor Antennas & Computer Cables (excluding CAT)
Some pretty decent bargains there: $50 off iPads is nothing to sniff at, and the Nikon deals could also be promising. The HP and Asus deal includes all laptops over $500 as well as all-in-one PCs. However, the latter will only be on sale today and tomorrow, bizarrely. It doesn’t look like the sale extends to video games and consoles, although you could probably pick up some cheap Logitech gaming peripherals if you’re into that sort of thing.
The sale will be Australia-wide from Saturday to Monday, with the deals ending 12am on Tuesday 10 June. You can find more bargains via our Hump Day online deals roundup.

your welcome
Giving me an excuse to flog Chris with pizza scraps. Thanks for the spot, fixed now.
So after the discount, now they are just expensive compared to the rest of the world and not a total rip off.
