Travelling is the perfect opportunity to soak up some culture, but it’s also a great chance to soak up some of the local food and drink — specifically boozy drinks. Avoid ordering your usual bar staples back home and use this interactive guide to find out what the locals drink.

Similarly, travellers in Germany have a wide selection of beers, and visitors to Japan should absolutely try Sake (preferably several) before they go home.
